Water Flow Scale Rating
Loosley based on the International Scale of River Difficulty Ratings which gives you an idea of what class rapids you are going to shoot down. This Water Flow Scale Rating gives you an idea of the kind of sound you can expect from the fountain.* In the International Scale of River Difficulty Ratings there are 6 classes or categories. In the Water Flow Scale Rating I have reduced it to 4 categories.

CLASS I - Slow moving water with a small trickle of a sound.
CLASS II -Slow to Medium moving water with definite but subtle sound that can be heard in a large room.
CLASS III - Medium moving water flow. Generous sound.
CLASS IV- Maximum amount of water flow. Can be heard from one room to another. Boisterous above average flow. For the serious water sound lovers.
The rating number is located below the fountain photo.
It will be a Roman Numeral I to IV corresponding to the classifications above.

*Fountain Pumps have variable flow rates. These ratings are the settings I have set at time of shipping. Usually the flow rate is set as high as I can without the dreaded splashing.
